Aquatic Therapy is a great alternative or addition to land based rehabilitation that allows for you to work in a safe and comfortable environment. Sessions consist of water based exercises to work on body specific strength and mobility deficits. Rehabilitation in water  is a great tool for patients who need extra support when land based therapy is too difficult on their bodies. Patients who have benefited from aquatic therapy range from people who have had low back pain, balance dysfunctions, joint replacements and even healing fractures.

How can you start aquatic therapy?

At Water and Sports Physical Therapy, we utilize the training pool at the Scripps Ranch Swim and Racquet Club (Scripps Trails location) on Monday and Wednesday from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. It is an outdoor pool with a stair entrance and the water temperature is consistently held at 88 degrees. Our company accepts a majority of private insurances.
