Finding Strength Beyond Physical Limitations

Three years ago, Monica Wixted came to Fitness Quest 10 facing significant challenges—pandemic weight gain and a degenerative meniscus that left her with bone-on-bone knee pain. “I really wanted to be stronger again,” Monica recalls. “I remember lifting my daughter and just wanting that strength back.” Under Coach Pat’s guidance, Monica began a transformative journey that would change far more than just her physical abilities.

What Monica didn’t expect was the community she discovered. “When I walked through the front door, everybody knew my name. Every single coach is on your side, looks at you, helps you, and is extremely supportive,” she explains. This supportive environment created the perfect foundation for her recovery and growth. Working consistently with her coach, Monica has strengthened her hips and quads to the point where she can now bend her knee, put weight on it, and lift substantial weight—achievements that once seemed impossible.

The impact of Fitness Quest 10 has extended well beyond physical training for Monica. “It’s had a huge impact on my mindset. I look at things differently now. I’m eating healthier, taking each day as it comes, and making my workouts come first,” she shares. From struggling with knee pain to finding a stronger, healthier approach to life, Monica’s journey exemplifies the transformative power of dedicated training in a supportive community. “I love coming here so much,” she adds, “I wish I could come every day.”
